Just like any business, to be successful in real estate you need processes and great communication. Throughout my career I’ve worked hard to develop and fine-tune my processes which allows my transactions to run smoothly. Within the real estate world, no 2 transactions, clients or agents (who represents the other party) are alike. Therefore each transaction is an opportunity to learn and grow within this industry. I love reflecting on my experience after a closing and identifying ways that I can eliminate future problems, enhance communication and improve my clients overall experience.
Excellent communication is critical for a smooth and successful transaction. It’s important that my clients are upfront and honest with me, it can be challenging to resolve or develop alternatives if I am not aware of the circumstances. Maintaining communication and sustaining a great working relationship with another agent is also key to working through negotiations, setting time frames, and ultimately getting to the closing table.
My sales in 2020 more than doubled compared to 2019. This was achieved by having solid processes and great communication. I was able to successful manage my transactions and give my clients the attention they deserved. Yes, I had weeks were I worked 60+ hours however, I was able to manage a healthy balance between work & family.
